Truth, observations, and straight talk from inside the service department.
What we’re hearing
A technician says everything is fine.
The shop is busy. The numbers look okay. Nobody is complaining.
But that doesn't necessarily mean everything is fine.
Technicians learn pretty quickly what happens when they speak up about problems. Sometimes nothing changes. Sometimes they get labeled as difficult. Sometimes they simply stop saying anything.
Why it matters:
When technicians stop talking, management loses one of its most valuable sources of information.
You may not hear about the dispatch problems.
You may not hear about the communication issues.
You may not hear how frustrated people are becoming.
You may only hear about it when someone quits.
What you can do now:
That's where anonymous feedback can make a difference.
Bay Diagnostics Group looks at the patterns behind the answers not who gave them.
Silence doesn't mean everything is fine. Sometimes it means people stopped believing it was worth talking.
